My name is Dana Cristina Cherebetiu Potts.  I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Romania. Since I can ever remember I baked with my grandmother, Marina, in her Transylvanian mountain village kitchen.  When unexpected guests stopped by our house, we always had fresh cookies and desserts to serve, made with nuts and fruits of the season.  Having moved with my parents to Mexico in my late teen years, my palate was exposed to the wonderful desserts of Mexico; the flavors of cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla.  My mother, Anca Marina, passed our family recipes to me when I moved to the United States and had a kitchen of my own.  Living in the United States for over 20 years, I’ve enjoyed a ‘melting pot’ of traditional American recipes and those from around the world; the ready availability of ingredients; and good friends who double as willing tasters.
These same friends have encouraged me, now for several years, to follow my dream to share with you a taste of some of the desserts I grew up with and others I’ve enjoyed preparing over the years.

We know that you are capable of baking delicious desserts too.  We’re here simply to give you the option to worry about one less thing when preparing for your event.  If you are enjoying your event, your friends and family will too.
